Simple answer.....the motor is poppin so much heat, that it welded the hood to the car. Duh!

Back when I was in highschool (several years ago), a "friend" of mine kept trying to convince me that he had a GSR motor in his 96??? Del Sol. I asked if I could take a look under the hood...his response, "The hood latch is broken." He would also cut pictures of cars out of magazines and glue them to his binder, claiming he owned them. Unfortunately for him, I read the same damn magazine. Good ol Super Street back in the day - a ricers porno mag!

Moral of the story, don't listen to these nut bags. They are striving for attention and will latch on to anyone that shows the slightest bit of interest. Tell him to **** off and go on about your bidness.
