Has anyone bought the seal and o-ring from ebay? I've heard the o-ring size is ok but the seal is not the proper size. Anyone...?

 

Go to the dealer.It is under five dollars and if it is not correct,you can go back.
don't waste your time on e-bay for a $5.00 item.

 

There is no "Mr E-bay" selling all that stuff, so no one knows what you will get from someone selling on e-bay.

The o-ring on the outside is readily avaialable, but the oil seal that goes on the shaft inside the distributor is not officially sold by Honda. Officially, no parts inside the lower half of the distributor are sold separately, you're supposed to replace it as a unit. So you do need to go third-party to buy just the seal.
