Default specific procedure to replace distributor seal

Is this as easy as it sounds? I'm thinking just pull the distributor off and pull out the old seal and stick in the new one. Anything more to it?

I assume you are referring to the O-ring rather than the cap seal. Either way, it looks pretty straightforward. The picture is for 96-98 Civics.

When you pry the old seal off, be careful not to damage the groove in the distributor. Use a wooden or plastic implement. If the metal in the bottom of the groove gets scratched you won't get a good seal.

o ya thats very easy to swap out... just use a small screwdriver or something to just pull the Oring off the end and just roll the new seal on.

JUST REMEMBER if you dont want to mess with TIMING the motor again. MARK THE DISTRIBUTOR before ya loosen those 3 retainer bolts.... that way when ya slap it back on simply line those marks back up and your golden..
