im looking at buying a 1997 ex, but was wondering if these cars have any major problems that are more then likley to occur?
any help would be appreciated =]

The only real problems civics have is that they tend to develop pretty bad rear-quarter panel rust.

If the maintenance was kept up with (oil changes and whatnot), the car will run basically forever problem-free.
