Default 2001 Civic EX - 146,000K too many?

Looking at an 01 Civic Ex with 146,000 miles. One owner and in really good condition. Timing belt and water pump changed out at 100,000, all other maintenance looks like it's been done on time. other than a Honda Low Profile Kit & 16" 7-spoke rims & rear spoiler, and Honda Carbon Fiber interior trim, car is stock.
Can probably pick up for $3800. May need front struts. Is this a good price? Throw KBB and other book values out the door because I don't beleive them.
How reliable are these cars and is there anything else I should concern myself with when looking at the car again?

BTW - great site - love looking at your rides

Ehh sounds like it has been riced out, post up some pics on it that would help. 146K miles for a Civic is nothing that car if taken care of can run forever.

Can't say it was "riced" out. I kinda like the carbon fiber look. Not as obtrusive as some that I've seen that are painted.
Here's two pics

Doesn't look too bad at all im just not a personal fan of CB, but hey I would attempt to talk the seller down, but it's a good deal for a Civic.

I wouldn't be afraid of mileage as long as it has been taken care of. And it looks like you ended up with the factory lip kit for that generation. Not bad looking, in my opinion. The rims are ugly, but if you're concerned about that, you can always swap different ones on later.

See if you can talk them down to $3500 due to "mileage"?

Was going back and forth with owner as the car was in a front end accident, minor damage and was repaired by reputable body shop. After repair, owner used car mostly on interstate driving and front bumper and hood developed typical roughness associated with sh*t hitting it at high speeds. Since car was painted less than year ago, we checked with body shop and thery're repainting the front of the car.
Offered 3K due to accident and accepted.
Car also is coming with GPS unit and JVC head unit with mp3, USB, CD, and I-Pod controll, MB Quartz Speakers & Cross-overs, Kenwood Amp
Stoked - can't wait to pick up car next week
