Hello All,
My wife owns a2002 LX 4 door Civic with power mirrors. I recently had a little problem while driving my wifes car when an orange construction barrel jumped out in front of me and ripped the passgenger side mirror off. I never knew they could be so vicious. My question is is can I use any powermirror that fits a 2002 Civic or are they made specific for the 2 and 4 door configurations? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they're model-specific... a 2 door mirror should fit a 4 door and vice versa

Well I finally got a mirror off of E-bay and as a bonus it is the same color as the car. Does any one out there have any directions on how to replace it. There is a piece of triangular trim on the inside that need to come off. I looked quickly tonight and could not figure out how to take it off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think that piece you just stick a screwdriver in there and pop it out. Then theres screws you have to take off.

 

Thanks Cyberex32. I did not want to go and pop it off and find that there was a screw holding it on somewhere.

 

Well thats how it was for my 95 civic, and for my 99 civic, so it should have stayed that way for the 02

 

Same way on her's too, just pop the trim off with a screw driver.

 

Well I found out they aremodel specific. The coupe mirror will not fit the 4 door. The bolt pattern is wrong. It appears that is no reason it should not fit as it appears to be the same size etc. Figures!

I just found a 4 door one on ebay for about the same price and bought it. Anyone looking for a 2002 Civic psgr side power mirror?
