2003 Honda Civic EX Automatic Transmission
I was thinking about buying a Honda civic. I saw one advertised for about 7000 bucks....it’s a 2003 Honda civic coupe ex with auto transmission. It has about 78000 miles on it. Which seem to be low miles for Hondas. However how reliable are the automatic transmission in these models?
I’ve heard that auto transmission for 2003 models are not too reliable...is this true? Are the auto transmission that much less reliable than the manual transmission for this model. I would like to get some opinions on this subject especially from people who own a 2003 Honda civic.

I have had no problems with my automatic other than regular maintenance work. I'm sure manuals are just as good thou... Right now im working on my o2 sensor which seems to be a problem for every car...
