Default 2008 Si Engine Break In Procedure / real world mpg

I am getting ready to buy an Si. What is the procedure to break the motor in? How important is this procdure? If not broken in correctly would it be better to buy the car new? I want to know the right questions to ask if I buy one from a private party.

What is the real world mpg? I know what it says on the window sticker. Just wanted some numbers from people actually driving an 06 to 08 Si. thanks

breaking a car in the right way lets the car last those extra 50000 miles or so. On the si you have to remmember that it needs premium gas only.
