90 civic 4speed...
So, as most of you already know,my hatch got jacked. So I've been on the hunt for another hatch for a while now. And it turns out my buddy's mom has a 90 hatch in the back yard. It still runs and all that good stuff. She only wants $400 for it. All I know is its white, and has hail damage, and the tires are flat. So I'll probably end up finding some Hx's for it.
My question is does anyone else have a 4 speed? I'm kind of curious to the gearing. Does it get good highway mileage? Good acceleration?
It is about 4 hours away, otherwise I would have already gone and checked it out.

dont let the gearing stop you man. honestly a EF for $400 i would pick that up no questions asked. you can always put a 5 speed in it. you can find a complete d16 w/ tranny for gas mileage for another $400. jumkp on that deal man

GO for it and swap 4speed for a 5 speed si tranny.
i had a nice 91 hatch i bought for 400 bucks until some idiot pulled out in front of me. isurance company clamied it as totaled and gave me 1800. so then i bought my 94 hatch.
and my other 91 hatch i had that i got for 100(just shell) and built from ground up.

I am planning on getting it. Just wanting to know if she will have the same mpg as my original hatch. And whats this put a d16 in it? Its going to end up like my last hatch - 350. >=) That or going S2000 power-train. Either way, its going to be RWD.
