hi, i have 94 1.3 bali, just joined forum could someone give me a quick rundown on info like whether its eg, ek, engine type etc. and what mods and aftermarket accessories are interchangeable as i'm a little confused by all the info on here never owned a civic before and theres not much info about on the bali, would really appreciate it

 

you will find what kind of engine you have stamped on the front of the engine on the left hand side, on a vertical surface. There should be a code that you can look up on the net. interchangeable stuff hmmm.... air filters, mufflers, lowering springs (as long as its the right year/shape civic.... though those things will be interchangeable between any cars, honda or not. ive never heard of the bali, is it a hatch sedan or coupe? why do you need to know what it interchangeable? best to start with knowing what mods you would like to do... and then finding out if you can get them for your car

 

Bali is an Island, as for your civic, welcome to the forums. Find out what you want to do with your civic, that way you have a more defined question. Most Honda and Acura part fit eachother. Take a look around and get a few ideas.

i saw one the other day on the way home from work, it was a silver 92-95 hatchback....

 

My parents saw one in FL. I'v googled it and found nothing. so I assume there are rare.

 

I googled honda bali and this is what i came up with

 

yeh i have never seen one before, though it could just be that i never really noticed it, but since i read this thread i have been looking, all i know is the kid driving it was absolutely nailing the nuts off the car down the back lanes on the way home, and i kept up with him driving quite casually in 5th gear all the way.... so if all bali's are like this one was i suggest buying a different civic or to drop a new engine in
