If your friend wans an unholy-fast car, tell him about h22 swaps. 190hp at the crank stock in a 2200lb car? That's a pretty good recipe for fast. Unfortunately, an h22 swap is one of the hardest swaps to do and from what I've heard, there's next to no room in the engine bay when you're done. The nice thing is that h22's are about the same price as b16's... next to nothing (when you're talking about swaps).
I think the USDM H22s (A1, A2) are about 190-200 hp where a GSR is only around 170hp.
I'm pretty sure if I did my math correctly that the H22 with transmission and everything is about 35 pounds heavier than a B series.
From what I hear the size of the H22 makes handling impossible and the swap is very advanced.
Best bet would be to go with a GSR IMO.

tell that to the person who swapped it. They are a hell of alot of trouble to swap in. Plus IMO they are long skinny blocks, Ive always never liked them, and tried to steer people away from them. Go B16, or B18. if your going N/A A B18C5 is a good engine (type R)
