ok I am going to buy a 1997 Honda civic 4 door this week. Ya I know a 4 door but I have 3 kids and my wife won't let me get a 2 door. So I want to drop a JDM motor and tranny in it, at first I was going to use a H22A but they are too heavy and I want to be able to hit the corners as much as I can. So now I am thinking of a B18C-R, does anyone know if I will be able to get my a/c in on this mod I know with the H22 no a/c. My plan is to pick the right motor that I can still have my a/c and go through it redoing the pistons, rods, cams and anything else that needs to be done. I would like to finish it up with boost, turbo and Nos any suggestions.

So you want boost and NOS on a family car?

I'd recommend keeping the sedan stock and getting a project car for a bigger powerplant.

 

You want boost and turbo? How is that possible?!?!?!?! lol Sounds like you have some info under your belt, but you need to keep reading up on everything.

Get something reliable and practical for the family, then have something on the side to play with. That is my opinion at least.

 

hahaha ya i dont know much on what you can do to theis cars. i do have a few cars this one is just for fun and it was free so i though what the heck. lol family car that ting is so small i dont think my kids car seats would fit back there. i think the back doors are bigger then the room you have.
