Does anyone know the correct procedure for replacing the sunroof liner? This is a factory installed motorized sunroof. It appears maybe the entire sunroof has to be removed. I have read the liner can be removed without doing this, but I can't figure it out. Any input is appreciated.

 

You have to order the whole sunroof, or so i've been told. The seal on mine started to mess up, and the shop told me you can't buy it without the glass, so the whole thing would have to be replaced. If someone can find you a site great, but I couldn't so that was the only option for me.

 

I have the part. I just need to know if anyone has ever taken one apart and how to get the sunshade out.

FYI - I buy most parts I need from www.hondapartsdeals.com , they sell new, original Honda parts and you can get individual parts for just about anything. Great site.

I recently purchased a 96 honda civic ex. The guy installed an off the market sunroof and the glass broke. He glued a piece of plexiglass onto the tracks. I have taken apart the tracks and cleaned it, and i am now looking for a glass to replace it. Unfortunately i cant find someone that sells the glass. If anyone can help me to find out where to get the glass i would greatly appreciate it. thank you.

Your best bet would be to go to Ebay, a junk yard would well you the whole kit, but you might find one on Ebay.

 

if its a aftermarket sunroof like mine is it says the make,model and just google it and find the maker and ask them about a new glass
