so i am wondering wht all u have to do to change the front end from a 98 to 99

 

You need a 99 or 00 bumper. The 96-98 bumpers are a little different than the 99-00.

Unless your 98 bumper is damaged and needs to be replaced, IMO it isn't worth the $ to find a 99-00 bumper and then have to paint it to match your car (unless you get one in the same color)

to upgrade 96-98 to 99-00 you need, hood, fenders, PLUS the front fender brackets otherwise your bumper cover on the corner around the headlights dont want to line up right the brackets are just slightly different,
bumper cover, headlights, front grill. they all bolt right up if you get all the parts together

 

do some searching man, this question has been answered many times on this forum and a quick search on google and you will be able to find a DIY with parts list.
