Is it possible to mount a '99-'00 Civic bumper onto a '96 Civic? I know the grilles on the '99-'00 are about an inch longer, but not sure if I can swap over the whole bumper/grille assembly.

you are going to need a new hood, fenders and headlights to do a conversion. only years from 96-98 will fit your vehicle.

It seems thats a hot topic, I wanted to do that also.

Our factory front ends suck :-( I love the 99-00

i always thought 96-00 were the same body....i guess not now.

bumper
grill
fenders

well you can buy new parts for your 96-98, and i dont htink the front ends relaly look different at all, so i say just get aftermarket parts for the 96-98.

Thanks for all the input. Looks like the boy (it's gonna be his car in 2 yrs) and I will scope out the aftermarket for something between OEM and WTFisTHAT!

wait before you do anything....im pretty sure that you can get a 99-00 lookalike front bumper that fits the 96-98. You might have to do some looking but im pretty sure they're out there
