I have a 02 Civic ex. While I was using my ac it slowly stopped blowing out cold air. I am wondering what the problem could be and if its easy to fix. Or should I just take it to a dealer? Thanks

 

id say you have a leak. if it stoped all at once, your compressor prolly stoped working. but slowly, id say your freon leaked out. which means, you have to get some die put in it, recharged and then check for leaks with a UV light.

 

It could be a leak, but there are a bunch of othe problems that would cause your AC to not work. You could fix it yourself, but you will need to know some stuff about how ACs work. I would write how to diagnose and AC, but i've already done it a couple of times so use the search feature its floating around somewhere.

 

if it is under warrenty, (shouldnt be no more) i would take it in, you might be outta freon, if you use it alot...
