Any idea what adding A/C to a basic 1998 Civic ought to run?

You going to attempt to do it yourself or have it done?

Do you want an OEM AC kit or an aftermarket AC kit?

 

Have it done, I don't have the patience or the skill to do it myself. As far as the kit, doesn't matter as long as it works.

Your probably looking at alot of money there. your going to have to have a compressor,high and low side lines,drier,condensor, and evaporator.plus you have to put this all into your car. just depends on how much money you have and do you have alot of patience and knowledge about doing this. it is not as simple as changing your oil.
