After owning my civic for only 2 weeks i was coming back from a club at 5:30 this morning and i fell asleep on the highway and hit a wire guardrail... not sure if the car is repairable or not... or if it would be cost effective to even fix it...

but on another note, if anyone in the NC area has another civic/prelude for sale for under 3k let me know.

try to get 'em tomorrow when i go to look at the car at the junk yard...

oil pan busted, radiator busted, tail light, bumper, and rear right fender busted and dented... front end demolished, hood won't open, air bags deployed and windshield busted.

 

Sounds pretty bad. might be better to buy another one

 

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but, if the car is older than '97 I'm willing to put money on it that it's totaled.

but either way those wire railings look nasty! either horible front end damage or horible side swipe damage.

 

Yeah, with that much damaged, its probably cheaper and easier tobuy another ride.

 

yeah, i fell asleep... i'm only 18 so no drinking... x-s on both hands makes it hard to get anything...

but yeah, its tore up the front end pretty bad... it's a 2000 model, but had a salvage title when i bought it...

gramps said it would take a completely new front end to fix it so i'm probably just gonna get another car, probably an old beater until i can get a better job, then maybe a prelude...
