dx sohc non vtec, ex sohc vtec, si dohc vtec. 275 hp all motor. you are gonna be hard pressed doing that with the original motor in a dx or ex, even the si motor is gonna cost a lot to get to that point. Your best bet is to get a dx for cheap, swap in a b18c from an integra gsr and work from there.

Bottom line, like sbowers said, to hit 275, turbo will be cheaper in the long run.

I dont' know that I have ever seen a Honda* motor with 275 NA whp. You would have to build 80+Hp onto a JDM H22A Type-S to get to 275 NA whp. A very tall order. I would love to see it though, good luck with the build.

Tuned by the gurus at Hondata, the 2.0-liter pounded out 256 whp and 184 lb-ft of torque
JDM K20A = 200Hp. Pro Hondata tune, see above. Price tag?
ยป Price : 5500.00$ (USD)

D16Y7 1.6 16VSOHC PGM-FI 1590 106hp@6200rpm 103tq@4600rpm 96-00 Civic CX/DX/LX
Thats straight from the tech archive, Its goingt o be hard to reach 275Hp all motor but it would be one hell of a goal. But hey shoot for the moon evan if you miss you hit the stars.
