5000 rpm is probably the best set. anything lower creates too much wheel spin.

hey StockSi, Leviii had an Si that was far from stock, and when he added the greddy header, it pushed it over the point that it would start breaking traction as it switched over with VTEC. just from the cam changeover, no clutch. thats a pretty bold statement from a newbie. and 1300+ is too much for a header for a real life street application. so stop name dropping trying to impress people. by the best, he meant the best that someone actually might use. and in that case, Greddy is right up there on the top of the list. with very few others, like Comptech and maybe DC close behind.

And yes 2000, let me know when you are coming, and we'll work it out. actually, let me know when you are ready to buy parts and ill see how good of prices i can get. i can probably beat most of them.

According to calculations, your Si should be putting out around 172.738 HP
WTF?
My car comes with 160hp stock. Thats not that much of a gain.
get a Garrett turbo and it'll solve all your problems. lol.

hytech makes the best "usdm" header, more than likely. but you don't know nothing about that cuz it wasn't featured in the pages of Super Street.
Guys, hey seriously, watch out. We have real expert on board now [sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Enough with the f**king Jesus complex. "More than likely" you just did a Google search for "best Civic Si header." And I'm curious: If your name is StockSi, why do you purport to run a CR/VTEC?

i'm pretty sure the dc sports type r(4 t0 1) header outperforms the greddy.. at least in my experience.
