I don't normally pay attention to how I work the pedals...but this morning I noticed that I also lift my foot when using the clutch. Feels natural enough that I was doing it without even knowing it. hehe

 

gay comment of the week right there........I had the problem with a hole being wore in the mat. At first the mat rotated but then i put hooks in the floor to catch the mat. now i just have a hole from my work shoes

 

put like a magnetic square under your carpet and see if your heel can catch that

 

try looking for a winter mat, the person who owned my car before me had them put in... it looks to be a fair bit bigger all round, not sure if there is classifications for types of mats, ie car, sedan, boat, truck, etc.
but ditto to air shifting, feels more better
