those here you can properly do this deserve a shout out...because i have been trying to teach myself this method and it is pretty hard to get down....i was trying again this morning on the way to school and almost rear-ended a guy in a truck..lol
who all here can do this anyway?

It's like riding a wheelie on your bike when you're a kid. It's all irritating and difficult the first few tries, but once you got it, you got it. I do it all the time on my daily commutes around the city, and especially on the backroads.

whenever i try it i tend to press to hard on the gas and rev to high...

Yea that definetly isn't a main method of daily manual drivers. Most mothers and fathers don't teach you racing methods when learning to drive a stick.

So basically one of two factors came into play. Either your mom is the roxxors and drives race style. Or you learned how to drive on a trunk from 1956

ya i had troubles with it when i first started, but i finally got the hang of it. just keep practicing and you will get the hang of it

Just incase someone doesnt udnerstand.. what is heel and toe, i know its like clutching in and breaking with you heel and matching revs with you toe.. but like, details anyone?

in a nutshell, the ball of your foot is on the brakes, and the outter (right) edge is on the accelerator matching revs for the gear you about to enter
