Default fuel filter leaking from bottom nut!

ok thanks, got it off

however, i put on the new filter and the bottom nut area leaks. Try old filter, still leaks. No washer goes on the bottom area, but that's where it's leaking.

There's a simple trick. I think there's a 19mm nut at the base of the filter. Use a 19mm wrench and 14mm wrench in a scissor-like configuration to break the 14mm nut loose with a squeezing action.

The nut is probably not quite tight enough. Use the scissor-like action again but with the wrenches reversed to get the nut tighter.

I'll mess with it again tomorrow, I tightened it a little more where it's about 99% leak free lol

I hate working on my car and then some bs happens, makes me want to never work on it again.
