Just joined and my first post.

My 06 Civic EX blew a right front strut/shock at 34K, just in time to be covered by warrenty.
Anybody else have this happen?
Been really HAPPY with this car except for this.

Ha- my dodge did things like that.
Also blew 3 trans. in two months.

 

It's a car, and all normal cars have suspensions which are subject to stresses and strains under severe conditions and can only last for so many cycles. It's not a big deal though, if the warranty covers it, then you're golden. Even if it is an "engineering" flaw, it's not completely honda's fault.

 

It sounds like you need to slow down on the corners.
