rattle can flat black WILL NOT LOOK GOOD!!!!!!

true flat black nice paint is just like regular paint and costs about the same as well. base coat and clear coat.

Its pretty much just black base coat. You dont have to clear it. The clear is what gives it the shine and the added protection. There are some clears out there that keep it flat though if you wanted to add the extra cash.

 

untrue...... black will still shine without clear coat!

buy the right paint if your gonna do it otherwise it will flake off/burn off from the sun within 6months without the clear and cheap paint!

Depends on the paint though, we use Dinamont in our class and it stays flat, even after a year. (A guy with a 92 Hatch back did it)

 

I was thinking about doin flat black on my 93 civic

I found some nice flat black wheels too

 

the new matte paints hold up as good as regular paint they even have flat/matte and low gloss clear coats now
