Default Area In-Front of Cupholders Removal

The previous owner of my 1999 Civic LX mounted a CB radio in that area directly in-front of the cupholders. It's that area where you can put your cell phone of whatever, that little cranny right infront of the cupholders and shifter. What they did was mount it onto the top of this compartment. So how do I go about removing this area, like which interior panels need to come off, and how do I do that to remove the radio?

Thanks alot.

Can you post a picture of what you mean? I think you want to do the first couple of pictures from this DIY: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=68735

Yeah that 2nd pic in that DIY is what I need to remove, to be exact the area behind the rightmost screw in that picture. So to remove that, do I just take that whole panel off and that then I'l have access?

Correct. Push your seats forward and get the two screws off the back of the arm rest. Push the seats back, get the two screws in the middle of that lower console, then get the next 3 sets of screws and it'll all come out. You may have to put the parking brake on and pull the gear shift down to get that part out.
