hey guy's i dont really feel like messing with a b16 auto swap so im just gonna put in a 5speed JDM b16a2 swap in my 97'EK...lol so what all do i have to do to make it a 5speed?? thank's

 

Well ur gona need alot of parts best thing will be ebay or junkyard, ur gona need the the 3rd pedal which is the clutch pedal, need the master slave cylinder, the clutch lines ,the manual d16y8 or b16a2 engine harness that way u dont have a problem with the reveser light u could still use the automactic gauge cluster and i almost forgot the shift links

 

OH YEA THE CLUTCH SYSTEM FLYWHEEL AND PRESSURE PLATE, SO GOT THE JUNK YARD!!! LOL

 

well i called Hmotor's and this is what it comes with

and they will add pedal assembaly.
what about LSD do i need it or will i be fine w/out it for now? anything else i am missing?? Im pretty new to this. and for that it will $3,000.00 shipped.

 

Hmotor's said all that listed above^ comes with the swap that's why im paying 3grand for it. it is a (Complete changeover) obd2 and yes i will be using the Y8 harness but can i still use the p30 ecu?

 

They're sending a "hydraulic tranny?" Wouldn't that be an automatic? Also make sure you're getting the manual ECU. You will still need to find the shifter linkage, clutch lines and possibly cylinders yourself.

 

tranny( s41, y21) ???? but what they told me 5mins ago is that it comes with clutch lines, 5speed tranny,p30 manual ecu, shift linkage etc. and what they told me (in a smartass way) uhh.yes it come with all of that cuz that is part of the engine..

So..lol i mean it is a "complete" change over i comes with everything i need to make it a 5speed. i hope

 

YEA U CAN USE THE P30 ONLY IF UR GONA GO STOCK FOR NOW CUZ IF U PLAN ON ADDING POWER JUST GET THE P72 CHIPPED AND THE CONVERSTION HARNESS THAT GOES OBD2 TO OBD1 BUT IF UR GONA PAY 3000 GRAND FOR A CHANGE OVER THEN U DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUTITEVERYTHING SHOULD COME WITH IT IF NOT, I WOULDNT PAY THAT MUCH AND NOT HAVE IT COMPLETE

 

yea, if it wasnt the complete swap then i would never pay 3grond for it. but since the motor comes as a complete change over for 3grand then it has to have everything included. but it will be stock for now. untile next year or so then i might boost it. for like 250whp and atleast 190-200wtq well..something with in that power range.lol but what about the LSD? do i need that or can i wait on it? for now..
