I have a 2000 civic LX and the A/C seems weak so I brought it to PepBoys. They checked it and said that the A/C compressor is not giving enough pressure which is why it is weak. I did not believe them so I took the car back and just paid the diagnosis fee. Has this ever happened to you guys? Specially on a 4 year old car? I find it odd. Let me know what you guys think.

 

Im not sure about the ac compressor, but i think you might need to recharge your ac. Im not exactly 100% sure if u need to recharge but thats what i think.

 

You may just have a leak somewhere. Whenever an ac system has a problem most people will say it's a compressor problem and most of the time it's not. Get a second opinion. Some places can put a dye in the system then check to see if and where it is leaking from.
