Default body swap parts

My son has a 96 civic dx hatchback that needs some body panels. A buddy of mine has a wrecked 95 2dr coupe ex. Will the doors fit the 96? I haven't gone over to look at it because its almost an hour away. - Thats why I ask. If they won't fit I won't bother to go over.

Thanks.
Paul.

no, a 95 is a 5th generation, a 96 is a 6th generation, their body style is different.

the parts for your gen is 96-00 now some parts like the front end and the ecu are different from the 96-98 and the 99-00
and coupe and hatch share most of the same body parts

I think hes got a complete nose clip for a 99. If that will 'bolt' on I will get it from him.

xero, splats ride? thats a nice car! WHen you walk up to the car and see that tall hood, you think maybe... all show and no go. UNTIL he opens the hood, then the motor seems to just POP out of the engine bay at you. BAM!!!! His car is the inspiration for my son, thats part of the reason why he bought his civic.

you would have to convert front end to 99-00 which will need fenders, hood, and headlights, im not too sure about bolt on or not, they have a diy on here i think, either here or HT

Also, on the front end you would need the radiator core support in addition to the fenders, hood, front bumper, grille, and headlights.
