Default buying advice help! best bang for the buck!

Hey everyone !
So I just got in a horrible accident that was caused by a truck driver the other. My car rolled and all I ended up with was a scratch. My Honda civic unfortunately was totaled. By the way the truckers stopped for a sec and took off. I have been looking hard for another Honda civic. I want a 2006-2008 model. I need some advice on he best deal out if the ones I have found. I know there are lots of things that can affect the value of the car, I will tell u what I know.

2006 civic ex $9000
-Private seller.120,000 almost all highway miles. Two owner. Regular oil changes. Owner says perfect running condition.

2008 civic ex $10900
-private seller. 60,000 miles, mostly city driving. One owner. Regular oil change. New tires. Owner says perfect running condition.

2006 civic ex $10,500
-private seller.88,000 miles . Mostly highway miles. Great running condition along with regular oil change. One owner.

2006 Honda civic $7,500

I'd go for the '08 with the lower mileage. When you get up over the 100k mark, you're looking at a new timing belt($), new struts, and most likely brakes. The '08 has new tires, too, which is another investment. Do a Carfax to check its history, and then go from there. Good Luck!

Skip the 2006 - lots of reports of cracked blocks.
