i know what you mean, its been a rough week with the weather. are you using a cold air intake?

Completely different situation... I have never had a cold air intake. That post/thread/whatever was referring to the absence of my fender liners (wheelwell covers) resulting in water being splashed through the hole in the front right bulkhead (where the OEM intake resonator ran into the wheelwell) and onto my short ram intake's filter. It caused the engine to bog down because there was not enough dry area of the filter to supply sufficient air.

i've heard people actually needing to drive through a pretty deep puddle to start sucking up the water. i guess just try to avoid them or swap back to oem for now if you want

i've heard the worst was today and tomorrow should be better. but with all these rain, puddles will still be there

You would just lose a little bit of power from added heat and decreased air velocity... that's about it.

Just turn the CAI into an SRI temporarily... it does have 2 pieces of piping, right?
