Can not find correct bumper. HELP

I know this might sound strange.
But one day i ordered a new bumper cover from Honda.
After painting it my brother and i went to put it on.... only to find out it didn't fit, how could this be, It came from Honda direct.
When my brother looked at the inside of original bumper cover, he noticed that it was made in Canada.
The new one was made in Mexico.
Is this coincidental?
I don't know, so I bought a JDM bumper cover with Type R lip, and that fit like a glove..... go fig.
