i was looking to get an intake for my civic and on the site it had the choice of it being canadian or not? how do you know if you own a canadian civic?? haha

I have a canadian EX Civic and i have to buy american LX stuff cuz in canada the EX's don't have V-tec. the Si's have the V-tec but there is no option for the B-series here during the 6th gen (i am using it as an example)

are they civic's actually built inCanada? with a 2 as the first digit in the VIN code? i only ask out of curiosity and not skepticism.

I was thinking 6th gen, but then i am probably not on the same page as everyone lol. but i am no expert. i do know VIN codes though, i was trained to read them. most of the timea 1 denotes the U.S and 2 is for canada or mexico and depends on manufacturer. thanks for the info though, i like to learn : )
