anyone know where i can find a camera mount that the scca will allow me to use for racing? i need it to be like a vice kinda mount. i also dont want to be spending loads of money on some fancy thing, just need something legal and functional.

this is where i will be mounting it:

it is not completly round. its maybe a lil more than 1/2" thick and maybe a lil wider than 1"

i dont really know but you should get the sparco harness bar and the the mount on that

really cant afford that and i dont have racing seats so it would kinda pointless...the pillar bar i have would work really well anyways.

 

the c-pillar is it to far back?

 

not really. if i needed to i would just zoom in and i could also use either my wideangle or fisheye lense to help view the exterior.

 

i have seen mounts before that go right inbetween the seats for the pass and driver, you could probably buy a camara tripods that has 4 legs, 2 on each side to put over that hump in the middle of the car, then just secure it down with some bunge cords or somthing..mount the camara on top and there you go

 

when did you get the c-pillar mount? its nice. i like it.
