2-3k. maybe a little more for an Si (has rear discs and already has d16z6)

d16z6...what displacement does this motor have? 1.6 L ???

yea. it's a better engine than the d16y5, d16y7, or d16y8 due to it being OBD1 and having a good oil pump. Also has the best flowing head of the D-series.

Would a larger motor ( 1.8L ) be better for a turbo setup because of the earlier spool? The head does not worry my to much, I could always get a better modified one.

Civics don't come with 1.8L motors (except the new non-Si Civics), so that's irrelevant.

I think he's talking about an LS swap, or a GSR. They are good engines too.
