Default central locking trouble

hi guys, so my first problem is solved and my odmeter is working again. hopefully you guys may be able to help me with my next problem too. same car ( 96 civic esi cvt auto )... so anywho heres the trouble.

my car has central locking but it doesnt work. well it does kinda but lets start from the beginning.

i have to open both doors from the outside with the key.

the drivers door locks/unlocks both from the outside with the key and from the inside with the lock latch.

the passenger door has to be opened from the outside with the key only. when i try to open it from the inside it just wont operate properly and the latch seems to not be doing what its supposed to.

if i open the driver door with the key the passenger door does not open even though it has central locking.

i know it has central locking because sometimes the mechanism starts to click as though its trying to lock and/or unlock the car. ive changed the fuse and thats about it really. i dont have a remote fob as i never got one with the car and untill i find out which one i need then there isnt much point in buying one.

does anyone know how i can solve this and also does anyone know which fob i need?

all help will be greatly appreciated.

thats a tricky one, i recommended that you do some research for this problem unless someone can tell you what to try out. Im doin a little research for you as well. Ill let you know if i find anything. I wonder if your car's computer is getting the correct signals.

thanks man its been bugging me for weeks. i have even discovered that it happens quite regular in the parking lot. the locks just start clicking, which leads me to believe the car is recieving remote signals from other ppl's fobs.. i think my car is just confused.lol. but needless to say this needs fixing asap.

or you might be able to snag a whole keyless entry from a junkyard and install

i don't see why the radio would have to do anything with it, if anything the wires running from the keyless entry might be connected to the same area of the radio. but thats just a a guess.
