Hi
I am new in the forum and I just got a 2006 civic sedan and please I need some information about the cooling system.
I found that the cooling fan in my car works almost all the time, it’s like every 20 o 30 sec start working for few sec.
I took the car to a Honda service and they said that every thing its fine with the car ,but I start driving 20 years ago and never had seen a car with this ,so if any one has an idea I will be glad

I have never noticed that on my 06 Civic Coupe. My temp guage is always 1 square below the 1/2 mark. I would not worry about it unless it gets any higher than that. You can also check the owners manual to see what the normal temp is for your car. Anything abnormal should be covered under warranty.

Did you check the coolant level? but yeah as long as its not overheating, it should be fine

 

question, do you do a lot of idling? the fan will come one a lot if you do a lot of stop and go driving.
