Default Civic Shaping Up

Finally getting somewhere with my civic. I'll get some pictures tomorrow. This weekend will be lots of body work. Today I replaced the hood, drivers side fender, front bumper, headlights, and corners. I also coated the basin of the trunk with the rubberized spray stuff. The bumper I installed on the front is actually for a coupe/hatch and I put it on my sedan. For those that are wondering, no it is not a direct bolt on, and I'm not switching out my fenders/corners/hood but the fender/bumper relationship is not perfect, but the one side is pretty good, the other side I am going to see if i can get it a little bit better.

The latch was preventing my hood from sitting right so as of right now that is taken off. I was thinking of getting locking hood pins and just remove the cable altogether. Thoughts on that?

I really like the new headlights/amber corners. I get much better lighting than i was getting with my 1 piece halo projector lights.

A paint color has been going back and forth in my mind and right now I can't decide between white and black. The drawback to black is the body work I've done on the quarter panels.

I will try and get some pictures posted tomorrow so you guys can see my baby.

yeah i asked a long time ago. and i researched it, and kits have made it work, so i figured i would go for it. i knew it wasn't going to be a direct bolt on, but i like the coupe bumper better. i have a second civic that i can drive so i dont mind it being out of commission for a couple days. i may try and get the drivers side a little better before i bolt everything back on haha

You know, that unpainted flat black look is actually really cool. I wish I could see a car that had that kind of matte finish all over. What color will it be once you get it painted?

yeah i'm slowly getting rid of that white haha, i did that like 3-4 years ago...

as for the paint color... right now i'm actually leaning towards black and i was thinking of doing like a flat black, not gloss...

or i was going to do white as it would hide flaws in the bodywork better
