Default Comfort level

After having major surgery this year my Mini Cooper has proved completely unsuitable from the ride point of view. The suspension is perfect for going round corners but not for smoothing out bumps etc.
I am considering a new Honda Civic in the new year and would welcome opinions as to the ride comfort. Some reviews have indicated that its ride would not suit a Granny/Grandad.

My wife and I are in our 60s. About 2 months ago we traded in our 2002 BMW Mini Cooper for a 2004 Honda Civic LX. Our opinion? The Civic is much more comfortable, much quieter, and believe it or not, produces significantly higher gas mileage than the Mini ever did. Test drive one. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised.
