Ya know, just because a vehicle doesn't have electronic stability control it isn't the end of the world as CR would have you believe. All these "safety features" that are now on the market cost money to install and maintain in a vehicle. Don't get me wrong thinking I'm against being safe in a vehicle but you can go overboard installing technological innovations in cars. I'm 59 years old and have driven many miles and I just don't have a need for ESC in a car...I don't drive like an idiot, and I'm aware of what's going on around me when I drive. I would rather have the choice of what I would like to equip my car with rather than have things mandated for me, thank you.
