Crazy idea
if you just wanna read the question skip the big paragraph
im own a 1991 toyota mr2 (befor you tell my im on the wrong site hear me out) that overheats like crazy but only when i get on the high way im 90% positive that it is a radiato problem. so y dont i just replace it well an mr2 radiator is 359.99 and i dont have that so im thinking if the radiator is functal at low speeds it must not be that jacked up > since the m2 radiator is up front and he engine is in the back i was thinking y not put a small radiator behind the side went in the engen bay ( right were the intercooler would fit if it was a turbo)
what is the line that looks like a a/c condesor line goin to the radiator

RE: Crazy idea
You are right. You are in the wrong forum. How would you expect a Honda owner to know how to cure overheating in an MR2? You need to go to the MR2 forum ay www.mr2oc.com register and then search for how to flush a radiator in an MR2. Here is a like but I don't know if you can get there withour registering first. Everyone is very willing to help you there but you must do your homework.

You probably have air in the coolant lines and there are special procedures for flushing the system and getting the air out. Try to find someone with a factory manual. Also make sure the electric cooling fans up front come on when it get hot. If you continue to drive when it gets really hot you will end up warping the head and this will cost you.
