Default cylinder head bolts

I have a 2000 LX 1.6L. D16Y7. I was wondering if the head mount bolts should be replaced since its a critical task. I didn't see anything in the manual about that but thought i would get some feedback on it.

I would always suggest to replace OEM head studs as they are stretched when torqued down. If you plan on removing the head again in the future, I would go for some ARP's. They can be re-used. I have re-used mine about 4-5 times with no problems.

O.o oops. I reused mine in the rebuild. Doesn't seem to have affected it in 1800 miles yet.

I got high mileage so i figured i would eliminate any X factors i could. What version of the civic did you do your rebuild on?...and was it a performance rebuild or a normal stock rebuild?
