New Head bolts required after head gasket change?

Default New Head bolts required after head gasket change?

I am in the process of changing my head gasket and I'm not sure I need to get new head bolts because I heard that they may have stretched. I just got the head resurfaced today and I am ready to start putting it back together but I'm not sure if I need new bolts.

Thanks a lot and any advice is greatly appreciated

Get new bolts or ARP's.

Head studs stretch when installed. I do not recommend re-using them. ARPs can be reused over and over again.
