Deal or NO deal?

Are you kidding? Look around on autotrader or craigslist, that's a pretty low price for a civic with that FEW miles on it. A well maintained civic can easily pass 250k miles. And even if it doesn't, it would just be an excuse to swap in a new motor! BTW, shells are usually beat up and look like *****...

Are you guys serious? a car with 213k miles for $2000 dollars?? You will prolly have to drive like a granny to have that engine last another 10,000 miles.
You minus well get a civic shell for $500 and swap in a used engine with 40,000 miles. You can get a used d16y8 engine off ebay for $700 with the head rebuilt.

I have a 1991 Ford Explorer that I got with 220,000 miles for $1,200 like 3 years ago. I have had to fix the water pump, the radiator and the muffler and some other maintance stuff but the engine actually runs great even with it approaching 300K now. This is a FORD keep in mind lol. I just put down my downpayment for a Honda Civic and I am still keeping the Explorer as I commute a bit and want a car I don't have to worry aboutputting in a public garage and putting miles on it. I wouldn't think a Honda is bad with 200K on it.
