So i was checking craiglist today and found this ad about a 93 del sol....http://reno.craigslist.org/cto/1858232137.html
so i messeged the guy and asked him if he still had it, and he replied saying that yeah he still had it and that he lowered the price to 1,500 With the rims.

i just asked him how many miles it had. so im still waiting on that.


What you guys think?
Im thinking its a pretty good deal dont u think?
i MIGHT go look at it tomorrow maybe,

Sounds like an excellent deal to me. Jump on it. Miles are going to be high but if the motor doesnt last long you can throw another D series in it for practically nothin or swap up to something bigger.

i got em to lower the price to 1,300 without rims...

Yup so i got the del sol.
bought it for 1.2k
needs a lot of little things.. like one of the little AC hole things and stuff..

Its got a d16z6. intake. and a magnaflow exhaust...(gonna have to replace that soon lol)
and thats all i notice so far.

i might start a project thread since im probably gonna have a lot of questions lol..

What parts do you need?
I have a few things left in my for sale thread but I also have lots of miscellaneous stuff in my toolbox that isn't worth putting in my FS thread but you might need it.


And if you have any del Sol related questions I can probably answer about anything you can throw at me.


I assume this is a del Sol S with a swapped Z6? Verify this... it should have rear drum brakes.

 

I believe it is the type S. (will make sure) I have to make sure it has the right computer as well...

*i think 2 of the AC vent holes are broken and are just sitting there. ( has no AC or powersteering...wat a difference without powersteering! feels pretty good lol)

and i think thats all i can think of right now.
and i need to figure out why the passenger door lock button wont unlock or lock the door... Only the key works. i'll be looking in to that later today after work.

Well today i did some hard core interior cleaning and i found the missing center console door thing!! But... it was broken. But better than nothing i guess.

and while i was removing the e break armrest/center console or w/e its called lol..
i found this:


any idea what its for...? its just cut off.



and oh man was the previous owner dirty... there was so much trash and stuff inside everywhere...

and i noticed that my radiator is always on when i turn the key. im guessing they bypassed the sensor or something? any idea why they would do that?

BTW i checked my ECU... and its a P06. but the engine needs a p28 tho uh?
man that sucks lol
it should still pass smog tho right? just vtec wont kick in. correct?
