i need a knew distributor cap for a d15b were can i get one or what other distributor cap will work thanks. looked on ebay nothing maybe you can look for me thanks again for any help.

 

This may be a dumb question, but can't you just get one from an auto parts store? Just last week I was able to get one from AutoZone and it works great.

I think there are only two kinds of OBD1 distributors, TEC and Hitachi. The mounting lugs may be different for VTEC or not but the cap is the same. The USDM cars were almost all fitted with TEC. I think the brand is stamped on the outside and also on the plastic plate under the rotor. Just take your dizzy to the store and make sure the cap you buy is going to fit.

Most people keep the distributor that came with the car when they swap in a JDM engine.

 

D16Z6 distributor cap should be what you need (92-95 Civic EX)
