Do I need Antilock Brakes?
A local Honda dealer has a 2001 Civic LX coupe with 116k miles on it for $3900, and its in great shape, 5 speed everything... except I found out that the LX model doesn't have ABS (stupid honda!)
I live in Chicago, so would you just wait it out and look for something else?

Sounds like a good deal to me.
My sister has an 01 LX with 75K and she payed 6000 for it from a friend... Its a good car, I have driven it and it brakes well ABS shouldn't make that big a difference...
Those cars are huge and don't hurry up a hill though haha thats what i dont like about them....
