if i get a new engine will it really make a difference in the power? see because if i have to buy a new engine and a turbo its going to take me a long time to get them...cuz im not going to have a high paying job...

 

does your engine run well? if so, just get a turbo kit for it. you dont HAVE to swap in a different one to be fast, its just easier with a B-series.

 

it runs well..i mean i near a hundred all the time when i go in the freeway or faster if i want...but up the hills it is soooooo slow haha especially in 4th or 5th

how much would a good turbo kit cost for like a 6th gen vtec, cause I am thinkin about building a car up in a couple of years and I need a good donor. The 2nd gen mx6 is the type of car I want to leave all motor and just kinda have as a street car. Also, how much power will it put out at around 11psi? Thanks.

 

roughly 200-220 WHP, and a good kit will cost around 2-3k. if you plan on running 11 psi, plan on building the motor.
