Default Does hitch install void warranty?

I currently use a trunk mount bike rack and want to move up to a receiver hitch mounted one.

I would need to install the hitch and feel comfortable with that but I'm on an extended warranty and have a feeling that wouldn't fly unless I bought a honda part and had their team do it, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

The only way to know for sure is to contact the warranty company. If they are like many they won't cover most things anyway. If it is a HONDA extended Warranty then your in better shape & your Honda dealer can give you the info.
Most extended warranties are a waste of money. It is one way the sealerships rip you off.
