actually, Craig Lieberman was an advisor on that movie, but he was kinda pissed because they didnt listen to him. its the stupid directors that need some heads butted together.

 

Yeah, I remember laying my 8 bucks down to see that worthless movie. Since when do we race 4 wide for 6 miles? And since that movie all I ever hear the riceboys saying is "Dood, you've gotz turboz. Just hit teh NAWWWWWS."[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

 

Yeah the floor board thing was bust a gut funny. IT MADE NO SENSE AT ALL. How would that even happen was there a invisable fat guy jumping up and down on it? Where the heck did vin diesel put his feet for the high speed chase he just held the up haha... plus thats like the only traler i have ever seen low enough for a car to fit under... bloody funny movie. the second one is even worse.

 

Yeah, i always wondered were he put his feet at that point [sm=dontgetit.gif]. Also in the second movie, 3 things that get me is that on the motor way, he does a 180 turna dn starts driving at 60 odd MPH in Reverse, then the car that gets "stuck" between the 2 trucks, and then he goes under????!!!! i mean WTF? as if 2 truckers would willing kill some kid in a car like tht. And the best bit of all, the NOS ejector seats??? Another WTF moment in the film.

 

actually, people used to do that. back in the 50's and 60's, muscle car draggers would cut out their floor pans and replace them with aluminum diamond plate to save weight. but imports today aren'tt exactly steel and iron beasts and with more carbon fiber parts available than anyone knows what do do with, no it doesn't make much sense.

yea, i'm sure going 60mph in a 1 to 1 gear ratio would do wonders on your engine and transmission

 

lol the great thing was (i actually watched the audio commentary by the director) he said that all those ppl were the real deal...real illegal street racers...adn that one chinese guy that raced in the first one was like the champion of the LA street racing scene or something...well if so wouldnt they all have said somethin about it???
